SAN ANTONIO AREA FOUNDATION LOGOS: CMYK PRINT FILES
October 2026, prepared by Hyperakt

WHAT THESE FILES ARE FOR
These are the Area Foundation logos set up for four-color (CMYK) printing:
brochures, reports, banners, signs, merchandise, and anything else that goes
to a commercial printer. For screens (websites, email, social, slides) use
the SVG or PNG logo files instead.

Every logo comes in two formats with the same artwork:
PDF/ Send this one first. Nearly every printer, designer and layout app
(Illustrator, InDesign, Affinity, Canva print uploads) accepts it.
EPS/ For sign shops, embroiderers and printers who ask for EPS.

All files are vector outlines, so they scale to any size without losing
quality. There are no fonts to install.

THE CMYK VALUES (C / M / Y / K)
The files use the Area Foundation's official CMYK values, exactly as listed
in the brand guide. They are converted for coated paper using the GRACoL 2006
press standard (updated October 19, 2026):

  Twilight 99 / 78 / 45 / 43
  Fiesta Pink 9 / 85 / 0 / 0
  Limestone 3 / 3 / 9 / 0
  Black 0 / 0 / 0 / 100
  White 0 / 0 / 0 / 0

WHITE MEANS NO INK
"White" logos are printed with no ink at all. The logo is knocked out of the
color behind it and the paper shows through. Use them only on a dark or
colored background, and print on white stock. The Limestone logos
are also for dark backgrounds, such as Twilight.

WHICH LOGO TO USE
File names say which colors are in the logo:
Twilight-FiestaPink Twilight and Fiesta Pink, for light backgrounds (the main version)
Limestone-FiestaPink Limestone and Fiesta Pink, for dark backgrounds
Limestone Limestone only, for dark backgrounds
Twilight Twilight only (the Area Foundation lockups and the monogram)
FiestaPink Fiesta Pink only (the monogram)
  black one-color black printing
  white knockout on dark backgrounds

The Area Foundation lockups (af-1line, af-2line) have no Fiesta Pink
element, so they come in Twilight, Limestone, black, and white.

SPOT COLOR (PANTONE) PRINTING
When a job is printed with Pantone inks instead of CMYK (business cards,
letterhead, merchandise, screen printing), use the Pantone specs in the
Area Foundation Pantone Print Specs PDF:
  4. Final Deliverables/Brand Guide/AreaFdn-20261016-Pantone-Print-Specs.pdf
(also on the brand guide's Downloads page). For example, Twilight is
PANTONE 7463 C (coated) or PANTONE 295 U (uncoated), and Fiesta Pink is
PANTONE 232 C or PANTONE 239 U. Limestone is not an ink: specify a warm
white or natural paper.

Always ask the printer for a hard proof before a large run. CMYK results
vary with paper and press.
