The mosaic story

Where the visual idea comes from
The eight counties as fitted, colored shapes

Eight counties make up the San Antonio area the Foundation serves: Bandera, Bexar, Kendall, Comal, Guadalupe, Medina, Wilson, and Atascosa. Drawn soft and fitted together, they become the mosaic that runs through the whole identity.

The map is the origin. The idea is bigger than the map: a community of distinct parts, each with its own color and shape, that only makes sense as a whole. That's what "Puro San Antonio" means in the visual system, and why the brand is 60% vibrant and 40% steady.
